I don’t know much about this card. And to tell you the truth, I’m not entirely sure where I got it from.
I was one year old when the “Miracle on Ice” happened. My father was an avid sports fan, so I had heard Eruzione’s name a bunch of times. I can’t tell you everything, but I know he was the captain of the 1980 U.S. olympic hockey team, and he scored the game winning goal against the Soviet team on their way to the gold medal.
I don’t have many cards prior to 1989-1990, so this one definitley stands out in my collection. It’s nowhere near mint, but I don’t care. It means more to me than what it’s worth.
